yes. before I only knew English, even though mama and grandma and grandpa would speak in Japanese sometimes. my grandparents in Russia never tried to speak to me in Russian.
but now it is different. now I can read all the cyrillic in the postcards from Russia. some notes in Japanese too. my hair turned silver overnight too, but I did not die it and mama would not surprise me with that if she could.
